I am fifty two years old Elaine Althea Riley born in the strikingly beautiful paradise island of Jamaica. I reflect a varied personality including ambition, caring, empathy, sympathy, generosity. I am also a well driven, determine, vigorous, and focus person, yet pleasantly calm ,fun loving with an obsession for nature, the out doors and animals. I believe in fighting for what you desire and never giving upon your dreams. I am a qualified and professional hairdresser with over 30 years experience and also owned and operated my own salon back in Jamaica and as well as in the UK, however I am forced to give up that dream due to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands. However through running my own business I have gained many valuable life skills such as the ability to interact with and care for people. From a personal point of view I have cared for many sick and elderly relatives and members of my community in Jamaica from an early age. I always dream of becoming an actress and a model but financial restriction had took me this long to pursue my dreams. I use to derived great happiness participating in dramas, and plays back in junior school and high school in Jamaica. My personal character makes me a good listener, observant, hardworking, willing and kind which I demonstrate through my involvement in my community and housing association’s scrutiny panel. I participate in charitable activities such as breakfast club by helping to prepare meals for the elderly and less able bodied residents, I would also go to their home and cut their hair for free. Additionally I am involved with charities to name a few-: Breast Cancer Research, Smile Train, NSPCC, I make monthly contributions through Direct Debit to support these charities. I am now looking forward to enjoying a career in modelling, acting and any other opportunity that are available.
