Born in Italy to Nigerian parents, I lived there with my family until we moved to the United Kingdom at age twelve. Italy remains my home. I’m a sociable and energetic person. I played volleyball for six years in Italy, but stopped when my coach retired. Following my father’s suggestion, I played basketball for two years before moving. Adapting to the UK was challenging; it felt like there were specific expectations for fitting in. However, I made friends at school and participated in various sports. I learn sports quickly and perform well once I understand the rules.
