I am a proud mother of 2 children. I have spent the majority of my working life within the homelessness sector providing support to all areas of the sector, from front-line street homelessness, and recovery/rehabilitation facilities to the family hostels of which house young children and single mothers.
I have always been passionate about supporting others and learning about the ‘bigger picture’ of life and the lives of others.
I am a confident, happy person; I enjoy making people laugh, I love socialising and enjoy spending quality time with my little family.
I have a number of passions in my life, such as music (of all genres), politics, history, animals and reading. I love learning and decided at the age of 27 that I wanted to return to education and gain a degree; I gained my history degree in 2018 and I am now moving on from the homeless sector to become a civil servant within the HRH Home Office.
I am ambitious, I love to prove those who doubted me in the past wrong by pushing further in life; although I highly believe that everyone should be treated with kindness and respect, from the cleaner to the CEO and small acts of kindness can make life better and easier for everyone.
